CPM, left this team in a shite hole. He and AD develop no starting pitcher and the recruitment of skill top notch position player was mediocre. Since Alex Lange this team has not had a legitimate Friday night stater. CPM routinely signed small undersized player. I will take CJJ a year or so to get his type of player into the system.
People who think that he was going to take this team to Omaha this year is living in fantasy land.
Left give CJJ time to get his player and his system in place.

There it is!
This team came into the season ranked as high as 6 and had 3 all Americans. Many independent analysts who know a lot more than you said this team was talented.
You are trying to rewrite history and say we were never supposed to be good.

Excellent question. Bc everyone knew we didn’t have anything proven on the pitching staff. Never should have been. Many were saying temper expectations. But talking heads do what talking heads do.
