Lol no. If you can get elite talents like Shea Patterson, Greg Little, Breeland Speaks or Benito Jones for just one season you take them with a huge smile on your face.

So we don't need as many good athletes as we can get?

Interesting.

If they can only give us one year NO, they would be taken the place of someone who may be able to give us 3.

...it takes one year for most to learn a new system.

Absolutely go after them

I’d even take either qb

I disagree. If they are better than what we have now then you play the best player. Big time college football is about "what have you done for me lately" , not what can you do in the future.

Disagree. We should stay two arm distances away from anything Ole Miss.

The entire teams behavior last night was unbelievable. They intentionally went after the quarterbacks leg. And the hood rat that acted like a dog should have been thrown off the field by the refs. Their spineless head coach did nothing. They all know that the end is near for the program so why give a shite.

Worth noting those "instant starters" had only 347 yds (-115 below avg) and 24 pts (-8.8 below avg) against us.

By saying "instant starters" you are automatically comparing them to what is on our roster currently. So it's only fair to compare their performance against us.

Also worth noting that we were 15.5 pts above our avg and 98.5 yds above avg. And while that star QB-cum-thiefbrother didn't play a full game he was on track for a 43% comp and about 240 yds, and 6 INTs in a full game and had 9 INTs in 6.5 games.

With that in mind, "instant starters" is debatable.
