We need O to name a clear cut QB after spring to get team headed in right direction

I understand this year was like no other, but next year we need to start the season off on solid ground and that starts with naming a starting QB for the season. I know we have three talented QBs with a fourth on the way, but O needs to decide who is best for the team next season and he's the man.
I know this means we will probably lose at least one QB to transfer, but that's just reality of college football today. I think heading into spring Max is clearly the starter at this point, but time will tell. The success of a team starts with the QB and we need to start off on solid footing to have any chance of competing for SEC titles and National Championships.

He will. The team will know who the QB will be after spring but he won’t release it to the public. He will continue to say that’s it’s still a competition

The only way I agree is if he is naming Max starter. He owes it to Myles to have time to decide if he wants to stay or transfer after all the time Myles has been here waiting.

Won’t happen. I would bet Myles isn’t ready for Spring. You will have two freshmen and an early enrollee in a new offense in Spring practice. They aren’t naming a starter until everyone masters the new offense and Myles is back in Fall camp. Prepare for that.

Sure, if one of them is clearly the best. Otherwise keep open competition until we are ready to play a real game.

Don’t confuse your need for a hero with LSU’s need to name a starting QB.
