This board is obsessed with getting former players here as coaches

Time to bring another Tiger great Jamarcus Russel back as QB coach.

After Mawae spends two years under Sean Payton, instead of a Herman Edwards, tell him to give Coach O and Woodward a call.

As coach:

Chicago Bears (2016)
Assistant offensive line
Arizona State (2018–present)
Offensive analyst

Apparently he was an assistant in the NFL. Maybe he would be a good fit for Faulk's old director of player development job. Mawae was a 2 term president of the NFLPA. He would be an excellent mentor for players and could also take some analyst duties as well.

We already have an o-line coach that O hand-selected. He isn't getting rid of Cregg.

You don’t make fun of Cregg anymore?

Michael Jordan went from basketball player to front office then to ownership. He never coached. Magic Johnson coached.
