Last week was embarrassing.

The second Northwestern put 7 up there were threads claiming we should fire Aranda.

One guy said he was no longer excited for the season. Saw another say we would lose 4 games at minimum.

So, when we inevitably give up a chunk play.. Try not to drop the toaster in your bath just yet and maybe watch the entire game first?

Just a thought.

Screw that. Melts are part of why I come to this board.

The people who post on here during games are miserable people who don’t have friends. Normal folks are at the game or drinking watching the game with a group of people.

Let them have their outlet to be miserable

Why are you on here during games, worrying about what other people post instead of watching the game?

Meh
Low IQ tykes can’t control their emotions. I’m trying my best to stay off the scoreboard during and shortly after the games because some of these nimrods are so annoying

I post during games but I did the Texas and Northwestern game threads on SECR. I try to stay away from here

I love the scoreboard during games. I read it during commercials. I would really love to know where all of those dimwits go when we aren't playing. They show up like frantic Facebook mothers on game day

Overreacting is fun though

The first few drives were pretty embarrassing. I agree that threads calling to fire Aranda were ridiculous, but to look at that and be totally fine with it? No way.

They averaged 7.4 yards per play on their first 4 drives. Coming off of a week where we gave up 400 passing yards, we got gashed by a team who got absolutely shut down by Midwestern State. You can understand why people were concerned.

We figured it out in the second half, but against teams with an actual pulse that is cause for concern. Having a hangover coming off of an emotional win against an in state school is acceptable, however, and we got it going. I trust that Dave and the crew will figure it out moving forward.

Same thing happens on the Saints board. Anytime there is bad news or a bad game, they come out of nowhere and bitch and complain.
And heaven forbid Brees has a poor game. That really gets the stupids fired up.

Fan passion is one thing, but the absolute absurdity that this forum spawns when LSU isn't looking like the Saints beating down a JV high school team is quality entertainment.

I get a little annoyed by it, sure... but it's pretty funny. I get it though because I used to be overly reactionary as well.

Why? We should encourage this.
Sounds like a great plan for future melt prevention.
