We may not win another game with Davis on staff!

Some may think this is hyperbole, but the proof is in the game film. We have the worst OL in the SEC once again and once again, Davis is the common thread.
We have one dominating win and that was over an FCS school. Clemson, LA. Tech and Florida are bad teams and we struggled to beat them.
The defense has problems and the biggest one is the OL. When you can't sustain drives, the defense is going to eventually wear down.
I've seen enough of the Davis to justify his firing immediately!

I didnt look at the final number but at one point in the late third quarter Ole miss had a 2:1 advantage in number of plays.
No defense can sustain that.

Davis is the whipping boy for a total ad complete disaster by Brian Kelly.
Put the blame where it belongs. Please.
Kelly pushed out Denbrock in favor of an inexperienced, and not qualified OC in Sloan.
Kelly is the man responsible for developing a culture of physicality and toughness.
Kelly is responsible for having an OC here who can create an identify and scheme that puts our players in the best position to succeed.
LSU is soft under Kelly and has been since day one here.
Something is always broken under Kelly. Whether it’s Defense, Special teams, or offense. He can never put together a complete team.

Last year’s group had 4 players drafted in the same draft. First time in 125+ years of the program. It’s not an individual talent issue. It’s that the approach on offense LSU has taken the last 2 seasons hasn’t fit the strengths of the personnel. Particularly in the run game. The staff is essentially trying to take same approach it did in 2023…without the one really big piece that made it work. Get a new OL coach all you want. The result would be the same in this offense
Which I guess ultimately falls on the HC. There is no way he doesn’t see the problems. Yet, there seems to be no desire to change the play-calling/approach (for example, changing the blocking scheme in how you want to try to run the ball).
You can bitch about players not being able to execute what you want and not make any changes…leading to the same results.
OR, you can figure out what your guys do best and tailor your approach to fit them…even if it’s not your preferred style.
Change is inevitable. The best coaches are the ones who can adapt to the change

But can’t really do anything about Kelly for the foreseeable future so just have to hope a cleaning of house on the offensive side of the ball does something
But Jayden was kind of an outlier for BK, Nuss is pretty close to what Kelly consistently had at ND, very average game managers.

The whipping boy? What are you talking about? Last year, we finished last in the SEC in offensive rushing and this year we may be finish last in the entire country.
Believe me, CBK is responsible for the entire operation and should be held accountable, but Davis has been there a long time and done absolutely zero in terms of coaching and making our OL better.
Great recruiter. Horrible coach. When your car starts misfiring, it's time to replace a spark plug or get a complete tuneup. Well, the problem is Davis has never even had a spark in terms improving our on-field performance, so this problem should have been taken care of a long time ago!
At this point of the season, it's sad when the highlight of our season is a win over a FCS school and the toughest part of our schedule still remains.
It should be noted that even beating an FCS school soundly, there were times early in the game where their DL absolutely destroyed our OL and that should never happen.
