If this is in fact the "wall" that every team hits, keep in mind that the 2009 team's wall was a series loss at home vs Tennessee. Atleast we won this series on the road despite playing below the standard we set for ourselves this season.

LSU was on the road 3 of the last 4 weekends. At some point that takes a toll. Seeing how we played, both offensively and defensively, I'm thrilled to win 2 out of 3.

I'm sure the game last night took a little more out of the team than a normal weekend, even more so with it being on the road.

We'll be fine.

Yep. Definitely our worst series this year. Saw some good things from Glenn and our relievers though. Very encouraging.

to me, it seemed that we weren't in it mentally after nola 3 hit 'em. defense committed mucho errors and timely hitting was an issue; the biggest thing was the number of called strike threes. the ump's strike zone should have been figured out much earlier in the game (last nite). every team goes thru spells and i hope that's all this is because this season is far from over and i would like to see LSU take the SEC.

You're gonna hit a snag or two over the course of season. If anyone would have told me before the season that the Tigers would be 15 - 3 in conference at this point, I'd gladly have taken it.

lack of hitting + lack of fielding + lack of strategic coaching decisions = lose

I love how this always factors into every loss.

They just thought that there was an LSU player on the ground and they were all trying to teabag him.

He's not wrong. There were seven extra tied innings that could well have broken like today's.

Nor does it take anything away from the series win. Remember that Bama would have been lucky to win Saturday and was lucky to win today, just as we were lucky to win yesterday and would have been lucky to win today. This is a very strong and resilient team, and like all strong, resilient teams, sometimes the games break your way and sometimes they don't. Saturday broke our way, Sunday broke Bama's way, we still handled business on Friday and got the win.

It's time for the boys to come home. Playing at The Box will make a difference. I'm a little concerned about Eades pitching the last two games. I hope this is just that being on the road has taken a toll on him.

We will be just fine. This guys showed a weakness...its fatigue. We lacked focus this weekend. We were doing things that are uncharacteristic of this team. Got a game against Tulane this weekend, and we get to stay home 3 out of our last 4 weekends.

We're fricked without a solid #2 SP & Eades looks like he's hit the wall, much like the end of last season. Hope it's just an aberration and he comes out & shoves it up USCe's arse next wknd.

Eades looks much different now than he did last year.
