Because they had to throw every play. How many times did his offenses get way behind and pickup junk yardage playing catch-up for 2 1/2 to 3 quarters? News flash, it was a lot.

You don't have a clue, just an attitude.
I doubt few if anyone on this board knows the obstacles he had in his previous jobs.
I glanced at his previous positions but I don't know if the owners wanted innovation or if his quarterbacks and offensive players could run such an offense.

Ask any Cowboys fan on this board about him. His offense is the complete opposite from what we run. Hes never run an offense with motion or anything close to what we use. He was replaced this year because the Cowboys wanted to incorporate presnap and motion into the offense.

You’re right, we didn’t hire him to run LSU’s offense... But he will have a big influence on it. The people who are concerned with the hire have valid concerns.

For me, it’s a kind of head scratching hire because it doesn’t seem to keep the offense in the same lane as it was in this past season. Time will tell and I hope it works out well with Orgeron hitting the coaching hire on the head once again.

His offense led the NFL in total yards that’s how it worked out lol. Oh he has 3 Super Bowls, is a billionaire and an NFL Hall of Famer so jokes on you stupid. Ignorance on full display from you bubble dwellers. Try getting out once in awhile you might learn something.

Sorry, but you give Ensminger way too much credit. The guy may bleed purple and gold, but innovative and creative in drawing up plays, he is not. He said so himself. That’s why Orgeron brought in Brady. Now you expect Ensminger to just regurgitate Brady’s plays and everything will be ok. That’s BS. We needed someone who could help with that. Instead we basically got the anti-Brady. It’s a piss poor hire at best.

On. The. Money. If our fans believe anything else, they are reaching.

I'll allow it, Scott coached Daunte Culpepper, Stafford, and Dak to their best passing seasons as pros dude OBVIOUSLY knows how to coach quarterbacks to submit prolific performances, people are gonna object to this hire well frick em because they don't know anything about football and are slaves to recency bias maybe they can get a fricking job

Oh no worries. E will just magically run 2019 offense although he couldn’t do this any year of coaching pre-Brady. 1 year of greatness. Well at least it was historic

Anyone who actually believes scheme played anything less than a huge part in our success this past year is an idiot, plain and simple. Sure, we had great talent—but we’ve had great talent before and never did anything even CLOSE to what we did this past year. I mean for fricks sake if scheme had nothing to do with it, then why did our offense suck arse in 2018 with the same “really fricking good players”? It’s like this dude has never watched an LSU game before Jesus Christ

We basically got a redundancy to Ensminger. This is not going to be a sum of the parts being better than either individual part. Are we going back to our 2015 offense? He seems more capable of helping with that than with the 2019 offense. Seems like there were SO many better prospects out there.

We hired him to innovate. The man was fired because hes not innovative.

We hired him to implement not invent some new way to do things. I’ll take a dude with his resume any day.

Jimmy Johnson gave him those Superbowls. Everybody knows that (even Switzer’s). Jerry’s in the HOF because he’s a genius at marketing the NFL and his team. The Cowboys have been the poster child for mediocrity for the last 20 years, because Jerry won’t stop meddling in shite he doesn’t understand anymore. How’d they do in the playoffs this year after firing Linehan, smart guy?

So the owner didn’t coach the team? I think you’ve had a breakthrough in football knowledge lol. And let’s get the other mentally challenged logic you’re using straight. When they do win the coach did it but when they lose it’s the owners fault. Yep you’re a moron, even when you move the goalpost and use straw men arguments you still don’t come up with anything.

BTW: Linehan was the OC, the offense improved dramatically once he was fired and a first year rookie OC took over lol. So again you’re making false equivalencies like a good dumbass.
