This offense will rank in the top 1/2 of the SEC in TOP and productivity. It is the secondary and LB that are the issue and nothing else. If those groups can hold their own, LSU wins 9-10. If they don’t 7-8. Not bad considering.

You didn’t. Sucks to be you, I’m like most, I have high hopes that Myles will bring maturity and toughness and I’ll wait to see, my opinion won’t sway things one way are the other. Nuss looks like a good back up and maybe he steps up. One thing about the beginning of a new season and young talent is that you can disregard the past and hope for the best.

You offered zero reason why you think so.
You ignored every other reason why Brennan lost 2/3 but led the conference in passing. How about the LSU defense that year especially against Mizzou? The team scored more than enough and Brennan did more than enough. The running game was non-existent at the goal line.
Look, I’m no Brennan fan and generally realistic on here about LSU. I predicted 7-5/8-4 results for 2022. BUT it wasn’t for the offense. That side of the ball will be more than solid because of the type of offense Kelly runs and HOW he uses all 11 players. The Oline will be better as will the TEs and LSU is LOADED at RB and WR. Boutte is likely the top receiver in the country.

I’m just saying that from an outside perspective, it looks like we don’t have a QB. Like if our situation was the QB situation at say A&M or Miss state, we wouldn’t say their QB room is stacked.

Brennan put up big stats in 3 games. All against bad defenses, but most importantly they were all shootouts where he had a super high number of attempts. He was recruited by Miles, that’s how long he has been around. And has started games you can count on one hand. Daniels regressed every season so far. Nuss is unproven.

This has to the be the dumbest "knock" people use against Brennan.
We gave up 44 and 45 points in those games, had a terrible offensive line, and no running game. Receivers also dropped a ton of passes.
Did you not watch those games? Hard to lay all of that at Brennan's feet when you're in an obvious passing situation the majority of the time.
