We have a great offense and fans still complain.

We finally have a great offense and fans are complaining about our rushing offense. When we had a good rushing offense, they complained about our passing offense. When our rushing offense was great we were one dimensional and always got shutdown by better teams. I think teams will have a hard time trying to stop this offense.

There are reasons to have legitimate concerns with the defense. There are reasons to have concerns about the offensive line and the relatively low ypc average of our running backs in games against weak competition. We want to be a playoff team, but to do so, we will need to best several teams with great o-lines and excellent run-stopping and pass rushes.

We have a mediocre LSU defense so the natives are restless.

Championship teams can do both efficiently
It’s still early in the season though. I believe the rushing offense will get better. Hopefully the 2 freshman beasts can be ready to contribute mid season. A 3 man combo of CEH, Price, and Emery will be lethal

The ones complaining the most also happen to be the most stupid

We had an incredible offense with Mett, OBJ, Juice, Hill, et al... and the D got torched

We could win it all and some will still complain. The emptiness in a man can never be satisfied with anything on this planet.

But if good teams DO shut down this offense, with a great pass rush, your post will look kind of silly.

LSU could have the #1 offense and defense and these nimrods will complain. It’s their nature.

If we keep putting up 40, 50, 60 points a game, I don't care how we do it.

I love being able to throw at will but the lack of balance with a good running game is a concern.

Do people not realize what it takes to be a champion. Some people are content with a participation trophy while others want to be first. Championship football requires all phases of the game be played at a high level

Ricky,

Save your posts...

Our D has performed at a level less than expected. Had our O, not performed above expectations we would already have a loss on the records. Our rushing O is below what it should be, but I think will improve.

Fans have the right to express their opinion, besides just because one area of the team is great does not give a pass to the others....all coaches are getting paid TO COACH.

3.5 yards per carry against Northwestern St isn’t worth discussing? You can love our passing success while also being concerned that our o-line struggled to open any holes against an 0-2 FCS team. Those aren’t mutually exclusive.
