We have a good team, not a great one. We were overhyped from the get go.

Very good team. No melt. I recall people not wanting to be number 1 all year. Well, here you go.

Still think we make Omaha, but probably 1-2 there.

Dumb comment, injuries fricked the pitching staff….not overhyped

All you have to do is go pull posts from this very board. These posters build these teams up to unbelievable standards and are the first ones to dump on them when they don't meet the unreasonable expectations. And sometimes it's the same posters

We lost two of our best pitchers during the season when we couldn’t afford to lose one.

And so THEY come out! With each loss, THEY ooze out of their hiding places (mom's house?) and spread their misery.

In what world does a baseball team lose a ten-run lead and be shut out for five innings?

No, the correct perspective is that this game LSU lost is pathetic.

Pitching wise they absolutely were guys like Ackenhausen, Hurd, Little, etc we’re supposed to be just a slight step below Skenes….their not serviceable.

We were sold a bill of goods on this whole staff outside of Skenes and a little bit of Floyd.

The good news is you fat arse old heads will get another opportunity to give a visiting team a victory lap around the box.
