You talked to Saban lately? Maybe even Les Miles? Orgeron? YES you are based on your performance. Kelly talks a good game and he's a hell of a coach - no question. LSU is fortunate to have someone at the helm who is very, very good at his profession - one of the best in college football! Similar to any sport you are remembered mainly for your performance. Reaching the holy grail is about all Kelly has left on his resume to wrap up.

I will say this about 2025 (so far). He isn't blowing his horn and talking about how great this team is - yet. I think (based on past seasons at LSU) he does not "appear" to be as fired up and is going to let his team speak loudest. Of course, our fan base is giddy per usual.

Game1 is ALL IN for Kelly and the 2025 Tigers in my humble opinion. Remember Oregon Ducks vs LSU in Texas to open the season. That year 2011 went very will until we switched QB's late in season. We're not switching out QB's if Nuss stays healthy! I like the way the rhetoric is mainly coming from the fans and the other "experts" and it's all good. We seem to be loaded everywhere w quality skilled players on both offense, defense, and special teams. You can't teach that skill set. Speed kills! Get the BIG guys doing their thing in the trenches and this should be another magical/memorable season. Let it happen!

We will know a lot about this team by Sept 1st. If we come out looking like we have the last 3 years...get ready for 9-3 or 8-4. If we show up and show out....it is on..
