Did we?

I remember being very concerned that Les was going to try the same game plan, but Bama would adjust

2019 Clemson = 2018 UCF.

You shouldn’t be able to schedule your way into the playoff. Either beat someone good, or go play in the Chik-Fil-A bowl.

If the NCAA is going to stick with the committee approach to selecting playoff teams, they have to send a message by leaving Clemson outside of the top-4.

Suppose LSU goes undefeated and wins the CFP this year. Then LSU switches conferences and joins the AAC, cancels the Texas game for next year and a schedules Furman instead. That’s essentially Clemson this year. Their toughest game was the 4th place SEC West team.

Basically we have 3 teams IN and don't think any of them lose! LSU is the only team that could lose and still get in as attrition will only leave a possible 3-4 teams undefeated.

Pretty sure that ANY 1 loss Conference Champ gets in over Alabama (with Ohio State Clemson and LSU) but I do think they will be #4 tomorrow night and rightfully so, but they have almost no chance to improve their ranking with almost ALL other teams playing Top 10 opponents:

Georgia (Auburn and LSU)
OU (Baylor, TCU OK State and prob Baylor again in Conf champ)
Oregon or Utan (Play each other)
Penn State (could play 2 Top 10 teams)
Minny (Obviously of they keep winning)

Don't see Ohio State or Clemson losing, if they do, that would Open up several different scenarios.

Is Bama one of the 4 best teams in the country? Abso-freaking-lutely!!!!!! But Auburn has played Oregon LSU and Bama and those will all wash out in the end! So Bama has really NO way to improve from #4 unless chaos happens!!

if bama beats auburn they are #4 and you will be told its the best loss of all teams fighting for #4 spot therefor bama is in

you can take that to the bank

Phillipeans-

If you think Clemson is NOT any good, man you are mistaken!!

If you think they haven't played anyone, you are correct!!

These 2 have NOTHING to do with one one another....

LSU Clemson Comparison

Joe and Sunshine?
Etienne vs Clyde Edge Etienne
WR corps...toss up as Clemson has DUDES everywhere
O LINE -Dont know too much about their group

Defense...who knows

They do have that UNC game that I still don't understand how that happen so that is really the ONLY argument against Clemson and note...they have won about 20+ in a row!

Don't sleep on Clemson...could easily be the best team in the country again!!

I think a healthy Tua is more of a threat for rematch. Say what you want, but it is important to balance it all with this. He was not effective as a threat to run and LSU knew that. He sat in the pocket. There were times that a healthy ankle would have probably gashed 8-10 yards at a time. I'm not saying the Tigers can't game plan for that, but that would be a difference. The defense would have to step up for that additional wrinkle.

If Bama wins out and Auburn loses to Georgia, then Bama has no resume. Your signature game is a home loss to the #1 team. If Oregon wins out, they should be #4, unless Ohio St loses in the conference championship to an undefeated Minnesota, then it is a toss up between those 2.

There is no way that they can let a team in whose top win is against a team with 4 losses and probably not ranked.

Their resume is the A on their helmet. That’s all the committee cares about

We need Auburn to beat them and remove any doubt. That is best case. Behind that, we need Oregon and Oklahoma to ball out and prove they deserve to be there.
