Anyone doubting how difficult the environment was, should look at 2008 Alabama-LSU
That LSU team was terrible, and the eventual 12-0 Alabama team needed OT to win.
We took their best shot and did not give them ours and were still a badly thrown ball away from having a chance to tie

That was almost 20 years ago and has nothing to do with this loss.
