not really

lee's play in the 2nd half was far above "consistant"...it was pretty stellar considering the situation

You shouldn't have to state this.

Jarrett Lee became the first QB in a long time to win at Auburn.

Two NC qbs couldn't, and the #1 pick in the NFL draft in 07 couldn't.

Jarrett Lee execution as the game wore on got better. It seemed as if he feed off the pressure and played within himself. It may sound cliche but when the game was on the line Jarrett Lee delivered.

I can't see him losing that Moxie, he is the son of coach. What scares me now is if he tries to do more than he has to.

Both will be unbeaten when they meet. It should be another classic like last year. I can't wait.

I would love to see another repeat of last's years battle. I still don't remember another game that was more more thrilling to watch.

I hope for the same result, but IMO this will be our toughest game of the season. A loss here would hurt, but we would still be in the drivers seat for the west

depends on who the losses would be to at this point

if we lose to UGA and UF, but beat bama and win the west...i am happy

if we beat UGA and lose to UF and bama and the tide wins the west....it is much worse IMO
You and I are on the same page.

The extremes that many go through has me shaking my head over and over....

Sorry but do y'all play for the team b/c the only ones that should worry about looking ahead is the team not us fans.

The one thing that is consistent about the play of a freshman QB is their inconsistency. It's just gonna happen. To what degree it happens and when and where it happens will be the determining factors in our season IMO. Will not be boring fo sho.

Are you kidding? They were both ranked at the time. Those were both huge games. Yes, there was definite concern going into both of them. With Miss St. No. Not if we play our game with minimal mistakes. I take that back. Even with minimal mistakes, we win this game. It would take multiple major mistakes that gave up a large amount of points to State.

Man, you had a pretty interesting post going on until that. Give me a quote from a real person, not a comic book hero. Lol.

I could handle a UF loss in the regular season and a win in the SECCG though.

I would love to beat UF twice ! I just hope the way Lee played in the 2nd half is the real Lee. I think it is, he just had some 1st "road game" jitters. Just in case, we better keep him very, very healthy. That last TD pass against AU was sure scary looking from the west side. The end zone view made me feel a lot better.

that's what I thought last year. we should all know any given week we could slip up. I hate this phrase, but we "really need to take it one week at a time"

Last year, I certainly would have banked on Auburn and Florida being the losses and not Kentucky or Arkansas (no disrespect to those two teams). This year, obviously we are past a big test @ Auburn. We have 1 more big test (@ Florida) and 2 in Tiger Stadium, UGA and Bama. Having said that, we overcame those equivalent challenges last year, yet lost to two fine SEC opponents. Neither MSU, nor Ole Miss should give us any problem......according to conventional wisdom. Likewise, USCe might be a tough game, and Arkansas could be completely turned around by the time Thanksgiving rolls around.

Bottom line - we're 1-0 in the SEC. Purely on Talent we should win 4 more games. The three to get excited about, on paper, as we sit here on 25 September, are @ Florida, UGA and Bama.
