And Tigerdroppings.com is supplying them with the matches.

If you love a school or team as much as your wife and kids, you're sicker than the people booing the team.

Great post.

I do not believe that any of our true LSU brethern hate LSU. For some reason though, many of them don't understand that the "outside" world views it as exactly that. Because of the technology driven world we live in today these negative thoughts reach a far wider audience and they are interpreted just like this DJ did.

I hated Hallman. I was only able to tell people I actually knew that. But they were well aware that I loved the Tigers.

please quit blaming the fan base.

Coach Miles could take care of all of this by either
1. meaningful communication with the fanbase. if he could articulate clearly and honestly a logical presentation of why he is going to stick with JJ no matter what, OR

2. put Lee in the damn football game for a half.

i had decided after week 3 i was going to enjoy LSU football. i knew what we had, and there are some very bright spots. The reality was that we were stuck with JJ. this is the deck we were dealt, i was going to live with it.

man, the WVU game really sucked. there is a difference between playing a close game with a well-coached and talented opponent and you feel that your coaches are doing their best to give your team the best chance to win, as opposed to you feel some of your coaches are trying to keep the other team in the game. it's hard to watch without wondering if whoever is really in charge of the offense is trying to put the team in position to score. i know that sounds bizarre. i don't think i believe that they aren't trying. what i'm saying is that watching the play-calling and failure to substitute qb's makes me feel that way.

And it is not fun to watch. But i'm trying, because i love LSU football.

I really hate the alumni vs non-alumni arguments. I am not an alumni, yet I have probably spent more time on that campus than most alumni.

See my grandfather was part of the crew that built the original Tiger Stadium, errr "student housing". My father connected iron on the upper decks and I have worked on MANY projects on the beautiful campus. Including the Law building, the soccer complex and the latest Tiger Stadium renovation.

I have had many a family memeber graduate from LSU and some played ball and some will in the future, so please spare me the self rightous "we alumni" crap, my family is so deeply connected to that place it hurts me to see people booing as we take a lead into the final minutes against a top 25 team as much if not more than you. Many alumni near me left as the fourth started, a few saying they will not be back until Les is gone or puts a decent offense on the field. I can't do that, but I guess it takes an "alum" to understand.

I think what started as an anti-Miles sentiment is getting portrayed as an anti-LSU sentiment around the country. and everybody is buying it.

I actually like this idea.

To the OP, I was just having a conversation with some fellow Alumni about this very topic.
LSU is more than a Football "product", unfortunately you cant manufacture those feelings of tradition and loyalty to the "fans" that dont "get it".

BEST POST EVER............I started a thread about fans being too spoiled. This is so true. I'm so disappointed with our fans. Well maybe they aren't fan's they are just those who jumped on the bandwagon and now that the wheels are a little loose they think they have the right to blame everyone. LSU ALL the WAY.....LOOSE 10 GAMES I"m STILL WITH YOU. MILES STAY HERE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
