I have no concerns about the state of the LSU program. We are just fine. Our turn will come very soon.

Yep, bama can thank The Mad Hatter for the SECCG and NC. We straight up handed it to them on a platter in Baton fricking Rouge.

There's not much that separates UA, UGA, & LSU based on the games we all played. What amazing games!

Can't wait for LSU-Bama in 2013. Both teams will be loaded again. Bama possibly even better next year as they bring back a lot of people, and LSU's O-line certainly has to be better.

Yes but of course LSU will have to play UGA and Florida before they play Bama. It will be a tough season next year.

Close, but no cigar. "If you're not first, you're last!"

yea, but Bama has to play Kentucky and Tennessee beforehand. I'm sure Stoops and TBD will have those teams ready to play...

this is exactly why college football sucks. the end of the year is so bogus. this system just poops on what could be the greatest sport in America by a landslide. there needs to be an 8 team playoff. lsu no doubt would have been a favorite to win it all this year.

No, no we're not. Let's put up a banner though so we feel like equals.

i'll concede the florida game as our offense was still a hot mess. couple of boneheaded decisions, a stupid personal foul and 2 minute meltdown away from a shot at another one.

Coaching only thing that kept LSU out of this dance, and what we do, give him a raise.

seniors for bama are, 2 guys on o-line, 2 TEs, 1 S, 2 DE (one backup). They also have a couple of LBs who could very well go pro, not sure about their Secondary but two JR CBs. Lacy will go pro, I think AJ sticks around one more year. So Bama will have some holes to fill, a much different O-line and D-line, LBs will be different. Not sure if bama will get better we shall see.

A Miles coached team does not put up 30 points on either team today

Yes, because has clearly never won an SEC title. Especially with his own recruits. Nope, impossible.

"Weren't ya'll supposed to be better this year than last year too? Does anyone at Bama go pro?"

We actually took a much bigger hit with the talent leaving last year, particularly. This was kind of thought to be a transition year to a 2013 title run.

- McCarron's back at QB. Our top 5 running backs (Lacy, Yelding, Drake, Fowler, and Hart) should all be back. We have 2 of the best recruits also coming in at RB, including the all time HS rushing leader from Florida

- We lose our 2 best OL (Jones and Warmack), but still have 2 high level NFL prospect tackles and another guard who is likely to make an NFL team.

- Our top 6 WR come back, but we lose our top 2 TE

- we lose our big NG (Willams) to the NFL, our best LB (CJ Mosely) comes out early, and our best DB (Milner) comes out early.

All in all we return most starters, all skill players, and have been playing a lot of FR & SO all year. Compared to what was cobbled together in 2010 & 2012 following loss of players to the NFL, next year would seem to be less of an issue.
