I honestly believe if we get Trey’Dez back we can beat Bama and Texas at home. It will be a dogfight and I’d feel a lot better if we had Whit back too but he just isn’t going to be ready to go. A lot needs to change for that to happen though. Baker has to run more man to man with constant pressure from all 3 levels and Lane has to get Green back and involved in a hurry but this team is just as talented as Texas and Alabama man for man. Arch is completely overrated but Keelon Russell is for real. I know this won’t be a popular take but I am more worried about Auburn and Tennessee just because they are both on the road and Auburn always plays us close no matter the year or record. It’s time for that $50 mil roster to earn their keep and start with making an example of Moo State.

What gives you the impression this team doesn’t have fight in it?

We fought back from a big deficit and nearly pulled off the comeback vs Ole Miss

KY was a dog fight and we came up short due to some questionable coaching calls and a missed false start in OT.

But there has been NOTHING that suggests this team will quit.

Seems like some people think just because a team loses it means they don’t fight.

Agree … the fan base on the other hand has quit (at least on this site). I think our previous coach called it “spoiled”.

‘The fight’ is not the problem. The problem is questionable coaching calls, and egregious player execution in critical situations.

Hope for 9-3, that's as good as this team can hope for. And it's not a given by any stretch.
