Once again, this excuse is tired. LSU is not the only team that has injuries etc. You’re telling me all the teams ranked ahead of us in offense had a flawless year on the OL? No man. You can overcome what LSU has experienced and have a better offense. You are being sold that “this was the best we could do with what we have.” It’s not true.

there is a difference between an excuse and a fact.

Please tell me what part of my post is wrong.

BTW we are # 10 and had we beaten aTm ...w a little luck we could have been in the playoffs.

You’re right. Clearly the Broyles award finalist, top 5 highest paid and sought after coordinators in the nation is the problem.

Not the OC who has been a TE coach most recently and hasn’t been an OC in however many years, who could’ve iced the game with one first down.

Defensive players are depended on more to make plays in big spots despite what play is called by the DC. Offensive players are more dependent on play calling than defensive players. But by all means, keep blaming Aranda and defending the offense. There is a reason he makes almost as much as the HC. You will see soon enough how much he has meant to LSU.

All true! ...but this is a business like any other, and sometimes what's best for the business means that friendships have to take a backseat.

He's not making an OC hire!! Analyst, maybe; but he's not replacing CSE unless Ensminger steps down.

totally agree, but it is not wise to throw the baby out w the bath water based on emotion.

I feel it was the COMBINATION of all these factors that failed to produce. The NEW QB fact will not be in play next year. Also the OL injuries will not be able to carry as much weight as a reason.

Let's not also forget the 4th qtr Defense schemes ..
that needs to improve as well.

If they give O an extension, it won’t be long till Aranda is gone.

Please share your knowledge.

Aranda is handsomely paid and produced a very good defense but not yet GREAT defense.

So you think another school couldn’t pay more for Aranda than LSU is currently paying. Man there are many schools out there with much deeper pockets than LSU.

Except people can be wrong but love LSU.

You're being dramatic.

Whine snowflake whine. Then pout. Then sky scream.
Mock the coach. Ridicule the coach. Mock anybody who supports the coach & team.
Whine more. Pout again.
Never, ever critize Aranda. He is the best defensive coach in the history of football. He has never once made a mistake. He is perfect & above reproach.
Never ever criticize Aranda. Bitch. Skyscream cry whine....the endless cycle
of the true "fan".
Go crawl back to your safe space.

Coach E would go back to coaching TE’s if asked to. He did this as a favor to O. Nothing more

Ed and Steve love LSU. How many coaches can we say that about? LSU is a family and we can’t turn our back on Ed and Steve. They are good guys and recruits like them. They have us in a great position for a big 10 win season

10 wins = 3 losses. Ten wins was the bar when the regular season was 10 or 11 games long not now that we play13-15.

football is both offense and defense. the offense failed to make a first down and the defense failed preventing A&M from making first downs with 1:36 left in the game with no timeouts.

Aren't they a combined 3-0 versus O as HC??? Although O did best St in the interim year, so 3-1 I guess?

Nah, o is 0-3 against Mullen and Fisher. Miles was still the head coach when LSU beat State in 2016.

We fired a guy that turned down his school twice and hired a guy that quit LSU and turned down a job here to go coach at Tenn.
