just saw Aleah Craighton and Dj Sanders made 1st team All american team from the ragin' cajuns to join bailey landry and jaquish with LSU. wow. I cannot stress enough how much credit LSU deserves for beating that team the way they did.

What's up with the lineup card saying Springfield is in left field with Andrews at DP? Some strange relic of softball substitution rules? Edit: Never mind, I see it's from last weekend. However...still...what's up with that? Andrews played in left. Haha.

Walljasper is considered the FLEX(defense only player). The DP is considered the Designated Player for the FLEX which makes them able to enter and re-enter for each other up to 2 times in a game. In softball the DP can play the field at any position and at any time so this means your DP can play the field the entire game. So since Walljasper has hit some this season and may hit for someone during the game Torina designates the player she wants Walljasper to hit for as the DP just in case she wants her to hit. In this case Walljasper could hit for Andrews at any time in the game and Andrews reenter for her up to 2 times. I have had an umpire tell me that the only positions I needed to fill in on my lineup card were P, C, DP and FLEX. P and C for runners and DP and FLEX so he knows who those 2 are. Since there are no runners for P and C in college Torina probably would only need to list the DP and FLEX(which is always the 10th player on a lineup card because you can only bat 9).

I feel like Hoover matches up better with UF than any other pitcher we have. I'm feeling confident about our chances. UF pitching and defense is always solid AF though. They rarely make mistakes.

Agreed. Hitting and defense need to step up big time moving forward. It is time for those quiet bats to get hot. This game tonight is basically it. We win this and I will bet we make the final series. We make the final series best outta 3..... well....u know the rest. This team is great at winning best of 3's. A win tonight I think pushes this team through and they win it all. Tonight is basically for all the marbles.
