WCWS Bracket?

Looking at the bracket I noticed that the Thursday winners play again on Friday, and the losers get a day off till Saturday. Shouldn't the winners get the day off?

The losers of the first round would potentially have to play twice on Saturday I believe.

Days off don't mean nearly as much as they do in baseball. But yeah the loser would have to play a double header Saturday.

Winners play Friday, and the winners on Friday don't play again until Sunday.

That's why they dub Saturday as "elimination Saturday" cause they cut the field form 8 to 4.

We are on the opposite side of the bracket from Alabama.
