I want to see good football.

The only time they have clean drives moving down the field is when they are tossing to the left and right and gaining four to five yards a pop, other than that a decision has to be made and they screw up any rhythm that was gained or one of their traditional ten to twelve penalties interrupts it.

I want someone to give me one game this season that you can say, now that was a fairly clean game with no delays, useless TO's or costly penalties?

Can I be added in this camp. For all my griping over the years about the offense under Miles, I never really felt that he was about to be fired so never entertained that thought. The last two weeks, right or wrong, had everyone including Miles believing he was gone. I fully admit to being excited about the new direction the program was heading. Then when it didn't happen I crashed.

Sorry, not sorry.

No doubt, a lot of people were let down. When Alleva immediatly got on the mic and said he was staying everyone I was watching the game with were shocked, some pissed.

I'm curious how this affects the 2016 season.

ONE wrong move and fans will be on Miles' arse immediately. The fanbase will turn with the quickness once we drop one, especially if its early. I can't see the guy staying around much longer after all this went down.

Can you imagine if we lose to Wisky, first game of the season, after all of this went down? The fanbase will be incensed.

We wont rise to NC contender until we are able to recruit top passing QB's -- and then teach and coach them. This is on Miles & the OC. With Us losing Franks-- we have no
QB in the 2016 class--- YUGE PROBLBEM

The failed coup attempt has caused irreparable harm to the LSU football program as long as Miles is here. The shitshow will start up again at the first loss next year. And it'll only get worse if we lose to Bama.

The only way to mend fences is to win it all.

It's just a small minority of people that are bitching the most. And the people upset are the loudest as usual. And mostly post on the Rant. The ten of thousands of people at the game last week were united for LSU

The people bitching on The Rant are a poor indication on how most fans feel.

You may feel this way, but I would contend that a lot of the fans who want to keep him like him more because of him being an icon and a good guy. What happens on the field and in the program are just details to these folks, and that's fine.

247 has a lot of reasonable fans who also follow the program closely. I don't have an account or read it all that much, but I checked their board a few times the past couple of weeks and it seemed almost unanimous that people were ready to move on.

Some may disagree or find the view unreasonable, but I would sum it up as a belief that LSU is a Top 5-10 destination job lacking a Top 5-10 head coach in terms of ability. I think it's pretty clear to see why people feel that way.

Resounding victory against Wisconsin in 2016 Season opener.

What the frick does this even matter if you are going to shite the bed in conference? I'd rather lose the Wisconsin game if they beat Bama, Ole Miss, Arky....etc.

Resign or win a national title in 2016. Nothing else will unite the fan base.

The fans that want to win aren't as unreasonable as the Milesophiles claim they are. Winning the West would be satisfactory.

Win games with a passing game that looks like Mett 2013.

You mean like the one that threw 4 picks against Ole Miss? Or the one that couldn't beat UGA? Or the one that got it's arse kicked at Bama 38-17? Which one of these are you longing for?

He won't. And he'll lose to Bama at home again.

This thing went way too far, was at the point of no return. A lot of people thought he was gone and were excited. The fact that he came back was a slap in the face to a lot of people.

People are gonna pissed till he leaves.

Next season will be brutal among Tiger fans.

For every single incomplete pass, false start or time out, some will say "See - we should have gotten rid of him". Others will crow "See - Keeping him was the right decision" after beating Miss. State or Missouri

Miles has no margin for error next season as a coach which is a bad spot to be in. As soon as we drop one a lot of fans will be pissed and become apathetic because he is still here coaching when we could of had a different guy....

Promise changes

I've never been a Miles basher, although I am convinced LSU would have been better served had A&M been his last game, but after 11 years of hearing this man speak I wouldn't trust or believe a single word that came his mouth.

Les talks to hear himself speak. His words are almost meaningless.
