JH just said he won't be back til late next month. I've never dislocated an elbow; is 2 months normal recovery time? Sounds like a lot; especially w/ it being his none throwing arm

Cedrick Harris played with a broken bone in his non throwing hand in the CWS. not the same injury but just saying. The injury was supposed to be 4-6 weeks when it happened, so it's gonna be more like the middle to end of May.

I've had the injury and it takes a little while to heal and to get full strength back with therapy. However mine was worse so not to sure. I was out a good 8+ weeks but mine required surgery.

Thought 3-4 weeks sounded too short from the beginning. That takes time

Actually, beside the typo, must be a heck of a med school to know that at third year. There must have been no associated ligamental injuries.

Trey had an MRI Monday and it showed soft tissue damage but no fracture. Mainieri said he hopes Watkins will be back within 4 weeks.

He also said Watkins' biggest problem will be extending his left arm over his head to catch a fly ball so he may have to DH when he comes back.
