Anyone else curious as to why Tremont was on the bench for such a long stretch in the middle to latter part of the first half when we couldn’t score? He may have needed some rest, but not that much. Ultimately, I don’t think it makes a difference, but seemed odd for him to be on bench for so long.

Because he was killing us on the defensive end. He was gambling for steals on just about every possession.

In hindsight he should have played more. He was in rare form tonight. Not sure why he didn’t play more?

I'm not sure how taking him out for that was an improvement over the flat footed defenders gazing out at MSU 3s and then watching MSU get the rebound. Lsu was out of sync from the opening tip. They looked unprepared and just happy to be there.

Yes he was but I think sometimes he puts a lot of pressure on himself to make plays. The kid is good and I can't fault him for it.

Noticed this a lot from other players too. Michigan State just moved the ball so well & rarely turned it over. They just played a great game all-around. I saw a stat in second half where they had 17 assists and we had 5.

Other than Mays, he was the only who looked like he had life on offense and was absolutely blowing past Michigan State on D and scoring. Michigan State was basically hitting every shot regardless in the beginning, so taking him out that long was not a smart move. And when we finally put him back in, he drained a 3 at the buzzer at half.

Was there any lineup that MSU didn't outscore?

Not sure there was anything we could have done.
