You can tell Wade has rubbed off on the players too, they play hard and care about the game and each other. They’re making selfless plays for the team to win.

Even the little huddles before foul shots are encouraging to see; when JJ was here the players would stand around and play with themselves before free throws

There is something different about WW's energy though. It is really infectious with his team and fans.

Well I think for starters he's a young, fresh coach. It's probably much easier for him to relate to 18-22 year olds than a 50+ year old.

Can you imagine JJ ever being “micd up” during a game?

Brady's lucky he had Pierre as his intermediary otherwise some players might have punched him in the face.

This right here is correct. And Brady couldn't get past the negative and move on. Whether it was his team or the refs, he couldn't recover from a moment of anger and get back to coaching. Ultimately his demise.

Wish our fans could just enjoy the current success of a coach without negative comments toward prior coaches.

For the record Brady coached two SEC championship teams with trips to the Final Four and Sweet 16. He also had 4 trips to the NCAA tournament while also guiding the program through NCAA probation. Will Wade shows alot of promise and his enthusiasm is contagious. But he has a while before he matches Brady.

I love the enthusiasm that Wade brings. Coach is a mad man on the side lines. It won't be long til opposing SEC fans are going to hate him because of that enthusiasm and I am perfectly fine with that.

I am enjoying our current success, because of the failings of prior coaches (mostly JJ, Trent, not Brady). That contextual reality allows me to appreciate the current moment.

To be fair, John Brady COULD coach, and recruit. My point was he often sacrificed his coaching ability because he couldn't move past bad calls, poor play, etc. Those SEC championships and the Final 4 trip (and I was there) were due to Brady's unbelievable recruiting of some major talent. He deserves the credit for those teams.

Wade is the next Brad Stevens, won't be shocked to see him in the NBA one day, hopefully after some Final Four runs at LSU. When you have a driven coach that uses analytics the way he is, it will result in wins.

Can't wait for next year's class to come in.

I think Wade is too authoritarian and micro-managing for the NBA. Much the same as Saban in the NFL.

He needs full control over everyone and if you don't buy in, you're off the team. You can't do that in the pros.

But I definitely see a Blue Blood coming for him in a couple years.
