Those 18 in 2 games are still 20% more than what you scrounged all weekend
you say all weekend as its 5 games or something.
2 games, to three games, lets be real here.
Obviously, if we want a chance at winning this thing, we need to swing the bats better this weekend (3 games) then we did last weekend (3 games)

I'm focused on the last 2 games of the series where you only managed 4 runs.
You mean the last 2 games of the series in which we hit .276? Yea not great.
But wait, your beloved Cajuns hit an astounding .155.
Go the frick away.

The stats that do matter is that they were #13 in the country in hitting playing in a weak conference and you're #151 in the country playing in a weak conference.
i know we need to hit the ball better,
im responding to the guys shitting on the 2013 stats earlier saying they dont matter because of the the sunbelt being weak.
but now UNC-W has the #13 hitting team in the country is supposed to be awesome, disregard that they play in a bad conference.
just playing some devil's advocate in here.

Uhhh they have better hitters than us??? Gee logic is so hard to come by on this board...
So your point??

They scored ZERO runs on us.

You are so out of your element here. Paul Mainieri runs a tighter ship than any other coach on the LSU campus.
Well that really is not that hard of an accomplishment now is it??? Actually that is one of the funniest comments I have read on this board... Thanks for the laugh

I can't wait for this SR to be over so you fricks climb back in the hole you came from. This board has become a shite stain of Lafayette guys with 130 posts.

College of Charleston (#16) and UNCW (#26) are both solid teams. Sun Belt and Colonial are pretty much equals of each other with Colonial more top heavy than Sun Belt.

the infusion of all these cajuns coming out of cracks reminds me of cockroaches.

There's no devil's advocate, only cold, hard facts. Mid major teams can't handle elite teams. It's no big secret that facing Middle Tennessee State's three weekend starters would lead to better hitting stats than facing Vanderbilt's 3 first round draft picks.

I applaud the LSU pitching staff. I think they are good but lacking a great 3rd rotation guy.
You are spot on with your scouting report. I don't see anyway LSU can make it through a weekend with that set of rag arms. No way they could do well in a 3 game series with anyone.

agreed, so why is everyone beating their chest for shutting out UNC-W twice. b/c they are 13th in BA for the year. they wouldnt be near that if they played

Do you realize how dumb you sound?
I mean, you scored 5 runs on two hits in the 9th to beat Rice. You scored your only two runs against Houston in the 9th inning and failed to hit the ball out of the infield and won on a HBP. I wouldn't say that's exactly Lafayette taking the game more than Rice and Houston giving it to you.
