Sure he didn't execute but I just don't understand calling for a bunt in the 4th inning off a pitcher you put up 4 on the previous inning and hit the leadoff hitter this inning.

It wasn't great
But watching the play unfold for your first 5 steps instead of hightailing it to the first was awful base running.

I love this team. As much as anyone else on this board. I've said they were going to win the natty from the beginning of the year this year and I've never stopped watching. I'll admit I did have a little early/mid season doubt. I have absolutely NO complaints about this team as a whole. They've put the pieces together and have gotten hot late in the season, I'm super excited to say the least.

Nope. Saw one get bunted right in the pitcher's glove a week or two ago.
