His biggest blunder was not adapting to a modern offense and letting his OC run it.
Wouldn't you say 2017 had a modern offense?

You idiot. Had O not been here someone else wouldve taken over as temporary HC when miles was fired.

Which makes O a huge blunder...

can ANYONE prove this actually happened or was it a “we can’t meet those initial demands” situation? I would bet that there weren’t “negotiations”. Probably one offer and that’s it considering how Baby Alleva acted afterwards.

Les did not have a clue about offense! We kept him too long. The mad hatter was truly mad the last year!

Miles wasn't here in 2017.

I don't think it was a mistake to bring in O. He could have had a place here for years and years as a DL coach and recruiting coordinator.

I do wonder how things would be different if Aranda was promoted to interim HC in 2016.

I think keeping Cam Cameron was his biggest error. Even with the 3 game losing streak near the end of 2015, he could have survived 2016 if he had a different OC. Keeping Cam told Alleva and the power brokers "f-you, I'm going to do it my way" when everyone saw the need for change.

That said, I still have my doubts about the way things went down, and really wonder if Orgeron was working his network to undermine Miles even during the 2015 season. Yes, LSU was overrated at #2 going into Alabama, and everyone pretty much knew that. But, something happened to make them fall apart against Arkansas and Ole Miss, two teams that they should have beaten bad. And, as soon as the Arkansas game happens, all of the sudden Miles is fighting for his job? Really?

The speed at which Miles went from the penthouse to the outhouse during the 2015 season has always been suspicious to me.

Again, did you enjoy that 2017 modern offense?

I don't think MODERN is the right word here...

Different looking would look better... Say what you want but the offense was much more exciting to watch after Miles and Cam were gone... A little more motion, less confusion I was just more fun to watch and much less predictable...
