Sure you can win a lot of games that way. But, it is very difficult to consistently compete for championships. This is why people are complaining about the small things. Because over the long haul, those small things add up and keep you at home instead of in the SEC Championship Game.
You are absolutley right; however, this will complete miss the 52-15 crowd.

Seems to me that if it is within Miles' power, he can silence MOST (never ALL) of these critics with strong, disciplined performances, win or lose.
If it is not within his power, well, maybe the criticism is deserved and appropriate.
The issues are not new.
There are high expectations for the team.
Does anyone advocate lowering expectations?
ooooooooooooo, nice post....

The Rant no longer has a point. It likely won't until either Miles is gone, or the team plays so well that the ngTigers have nothing to complain about other than where's my wife and madonna headsets.

I agree. We need to be possitive. Recruits and opponents read this. It gives future players and SEC coaches recruiting aguments against us. I know first hand from my son's recruitment . We know. No negatives. No cussing. No F----- word. We'll all be better for it.

LSUMafia ought to be banned for the way he has beat Ridley up today. He has used every sideways name calling he can to do so and basically has ignored your warning imo.
Today this poster has said that Stevan fumbled because:
1. Stupid
2. Idiot
3. Careless
4. Cared more about yards than protecting the ball.
Etc. Unexceptable

Please tell me you aren't that simple. There is an segment of insecure and ignorant fans that will criticize every LSU football coach no matter what the record.
I hope you didn't work too hard on that line. It's pretty lame.

Ok
Now let's work on that old seltzer in the face thing. That is real humor there.

Hve you really not seen, "Where's my wife?" or the "Madonna headset" comments?

Not in 5 years. They might have been slightly funny then, but they aren't timeless humor.
Now the cream pie in the face, that's gold!
