Tough game. 39 degrees at kickoff. Let down. How long you been watching football? New to the game??

What is really weird is the over is at 62. So, LSU winning by three would make the score 33-29.

Vegas is not in the business of predicting games

I agree but still find it weird how they get spot on more times than not. It's eerie.

Being honest, I've never gambled a single cent on sports. I have played with political gambling--that place that popped up back when Trump was first running that let you buy "shares" in a candidate--bought Trump at $17/share early days and cashed in at $99 when he won. And then promptly lost those winnings 4 years later. But, I digress.

The Arky game has all the hallmarks of a trap. Early game, cold weather, LSU coming off a win for the ages, Arky coming off a tough loss to Liberty. I did hear that several Arky linemen were arrested after the game--that should favor LSU, as will having better talent overall. My thought is that the game will be low-scoring and tight, with LSU's talent and conditioning prevailing by the 4th quarter. OTOH, I wouldn't be shocked if LSU won by 25 plus--as they should based upon having a top 10 (7?) ranking.

I think the Bama game is an excellent benchmark of the Tigers' progress under CBK, but an even better marker will be how they perform against Arky and Aggie4&8 in the coming weeks.

Must be someone's time of the month. Sorry little guy hahaha.

Vegas does predict things in the initial line they set, then it moves based on betting.

Doesn't matter anyways if Vegas predicts or it's set 50/50 by fans, -3 is -3, and I'll make my money while you're stuck making 50k a year

Also, you're wrong. Plenty of plenty of games have bet by count and by dollar amount where it's 80/20 or 60/40. If Vegas moved their lines to make it 50/50, that wouldn't exist. Go check online for this.. plenty of games that are way off 50/50 by count and dollar amount. That tells me that indeed yes, Vegas does predict and set lines.

This isn't true. There are numerous, numerous games that will have bets by count and dollar amount that are way off of 50/50. You can see many 80/20 games all while the line stays static or may move a point or two. So indeed yes Vegas will set lines they think are more accurate compared to what public believes, and they don't just move the line to where it's 50/50 on each side by dollar amount.

I just want to post somewhere that I placed 100 on a parlay with LSU beating bama outright and Daniels scoring a rushing TD. Paid 1000. All happened on the last TD. What a day.
