You mean same website that had Jamie Keehn rated the number one punter after this season??

Will always support our Tigers, but even Jaime thinks this is absurd

Beckwith is a first round talent. The only way I see Neal making the first is aranda using him as a rush linebacker in a 3/4...he will be beastly.

Locks for the first I only see fournette, white, pocic, beckwith

Adams, dupre, godceaux, Neal, dural maybe lacatoure in the second.

Then we have as sophomore next year...Arden key, toliver, bower, guice, tyron johnson, donte, etc etc

With the incoming freshmen class and aranda...???

we're sssooooooo loaded. This will be miles most talented team to date by far...we have no business losing 1 game next year.

Honestly, we should be preseason number 1. And to think miles was almost ran out on a rail.

I was surprised not to see Beckwith as a 1st round pick.

You cant use Neal as a LB. He isnt athletic enough to drop back. If you have a lb that does nothing but rush then the entire reason for running a 3-4 goes out the window.

If we have 7 first round picks we shouldn't lose 2 or 3 games in November.

Not sure about that, maybe 2nd-3rd round at this point. He needs to bounce back with a strong senior season.

LSU's 2011 squad is pretty tough to top from a depth and elite talent perspective, so I wouldn't say "by far." Thinking that we'll go 15-0 is bold considering the years of data we have under Les' regime.

On the flip side, you'll be screaming for Miles' head if LSU loses a couple of games next year. Les was almost fired for good reason, but he has a great opportunity to prove the majority of us wrong.

It's like my opinion.

LSU on paper will be more talented then the 11 squad. I think that's pretty clear cut. Maybe not by "far" but it will be.

A lot of those people could be first round choices, but probably won't because LSU always underachieves. LSU should def win the NC next season and Miles needs to come out swingin, stomp the frick out of Alabama in Nov with a blow out and stop playin the "I don't wanna blow people out nice guy card". A lot of players being drafted high has to do with how successful their teams are. That's why Bama's overrated players are always snatched up in the first rounds.

but a Lewis Neal can def go in the first round. He's one of the hardest working tigers I've seen in recent years on the DLine. He has a relentless motor to get to the QB. Reminds me of a Dwight Freeney with his undersizeness.

I think the opposite....I think the draft has been kind to the tigers if anything.

Meh. He's good, but nowhere near the hype he gets on here. He can't hold Minters jock, and he didn't go 1st round. If Beck was a 1st round talent, he'd be prepping for the combine now.

Not me. A lot of LSU players have had a tough route to the NFL. A lot not drafted, but still make NFL teams because of their obvious talents. Some drafted much lower then they should have been, but they hardly produced in college because of how they were used at LSU. But look at Deion Jones right now as an example. A lot of scouts, analysts are now sayin even he may be drafted in the first round because of his abilities. That if he has a solid combine he may very well be drafted in the first round.

But damn, what a nice class. I think Godchaux could wind up going first half of the 1st. Don't think Buga goes that high. You just don't get great value on RBs in the top 5.

Not being able to hold Minter's jock is a bit if a stretch don't you think???

I had a thread a while ago as to who was the best lber minter, kwon, or beckwith. Consensus was beckwith. Not saying it was right...even though kwon plays a different position.

Not at all. Minter was the best MLB I can remember at LSU since maybe Mike Calais before he got hurt. Dude was all over the field, sideline to sideline. Was always around the ball. I'm not sure why he's so under appreciated by LSU fans considering he hasn't been gone long.

Culotta asked Kevin M to name the 7 projected in the first round. He couldn't name over 4 players. Odd. Culotta was like 'safety, #33?'.....and Kevin didnt know who he was referring too or our receiver that was projected first round
