We are walking down the street and happen upon Legend’s, so we decide to go in. I knew I had heard of it, but I forgot that I heard of it from TD.
We walk in and there’s ton of LSU stuff all over the place. My daughter has her Bama ticket from a couple weeks ago, and shows the manager her photo of being on the field. He was in awe. Oh course, I’m flying my colors (LSU polo shirt).
The food was damn good. Granted, we only had burgers and loaded tator tots.

Very cool place.

We may go back tomorrow night and watch the game.

You are in for a treat if you go back on game day.

Worst gumbo I've ever had was at Legends.

The crime in NYC is still vastly lower than Baton Rouge and many other locations in Louisiana (and throughout the south).

Can’t comment on Legends or the gameday atmosphere, but from a purely burger perspective, best spot in NYC IMO is Smith and Wolenskys

This is the hill you gonna die on. Why would I make up something as dumb as “I knew I heard of it….”

I feel safer here than BR or New Orleans. People say New Yorkers are rude. I disagree, they are super helpful, friendly. People were buying us drinks at Legend’s. Got lost (took wrong subway, ended up in Queen’s), guy goes out of his way to help us.

Sitting in Legends right now, based of TD recommendations. Anything I should avoid??
