People truly amaze me to even think that WH should have been playing over JD or GN.
What has that kid proven yet in college to be considered the next Superman QB? NOTHING
All JD and GN have done is win for us, yet lots of people automatically put WH above them? At least GN has stayed and competed, and JD did not have the job in hand coming here he competed too.

I believe they were implying more arm talent.
We don't know because he is a true freshman and has never had the opportunity to practice with the "Players". He practices with the Scout team.
Don't be upset, the same folks have been scorning Nuss "Turnover machine" for the last year.
Now that Nuss has had his opportunity, he has looked nothing like they projected.
Even BK has had to admit it.

Have you? I've heard several who thought he would eventually be, I thought that was a strong possibility. I don't recall a single serious post saying that. Can you provide an example?

I literally haven’t seen a single person argue that Howard would be our best option next year. Not one.
I’ve seen a lot of Lafayette people desperately hoping he’d be the second coming of Joe Burrow due to the local connection. But even for those folks, I’m not seeing anyone at all say that Walker should be our QB next year… they’re just hopeful about what he can become in the future
