Wades bracelet on his wrist

I was watching a video of him recently and noticed he still wears the P&G 44 Forever bracelet. Made me think that he sees that thing daily and no way he doesn’t think of his time here. I’ve recently heard that he really enjoyed Louisiana, the people, the culture. Everything about us. As Kiffin says, it’s just different.
Welcome home General.

Jesse Spano levels for sure.
I remember where I was when he got fired. I was hoping somehow someway he’d come back. He’s home now.
What’s interesting is also that he may never leave. As long as the McNeese guys are here at least. Last time, I could have seen him leaving for a blue blood if he ever got the chance. Getting a 2nd chance at LSU, he may just settle in and build a new blood.

He’s said it multiple times, that he owes his career to Heath Schroyer and Wade Rousse for taking a shot and giving him a second chance. He stayed at McNeese for a 2nd season because of that. His loyalty will be with Schroyer and Rousse for his whole career.

Wouldn’t be surprised to hear if they spoke at some point during this process.

Agree. I hope we can feed all these mouths.

CWW led the Wayde Simms live memorial outside of the PMAC after he was killed.
It affected him deeply as well as the team.
I still have my Wayde bracelet.

I think winning will take care of that but it does make me a little nervous in this current landscape of college athletics where cash is king.
But it's encouraging to know that our coaches for the major sports (FB, MBB, Baseball, WBB) all have embraced our culture. They've all publicly made statements or shown that they love it here in Louisiana.
