Wade doesn’t get it: re: technicals and trash talk

Tell the players to keep their traps shut and stop doing stupid shite like dropping the ball on a downed opponents lap. It’s really not that difficult of a concept.

The more that I see Wade as a coach, the more I think that he is a poor man's John Calipari. WW is a very good recruiter, but he is a pretty terrible in-game coach. He spends more time bitching to the officials rather than putting his team in the best position to win.
Unfortunately, he is not as good as Calipari because Cal recruits the absolute best talent (this year notwithstanding) is a slightly better in-game coach (though not by much).

Trash talk is a part of basketball. It will never go away. However, there are certain magic words and actions that will get you a technical every time. The players know where the line is, they just have to not cross it.

It hurts the team, and reputation. Not maybe in the immediate, but they won’t get calls that are questionable, and the benefit of the doubt in future plays. The refs will scrutinize them more, and it’s those little things that pec away at you when the competition level increases.

In that response, Wade does the following:
1) acknowledges the technicals are an issue
2) gives some insight into how he’s handling it with the team
3) defends/stands up for his players
4) gives the refs a little something to think about for our important upcoming SEC games
What’s your problem with it, again?

I am convinced this Butt Pirate King dude would take the headline "Wade Saves 10 Babies From Burning Building" and turn it into "If he hadn't been on the phone making strong arse offers, then he would have been there before the building caught fire." It is just the nature of some people to be this way. Life is too short to be miserable, especially over something like a basketball team.

Everyone is on OP’s arse because of his reputation of being on Wade’s arse, but this thread will look genius when Watford or another player does some dumb arse shite towards the end of the game that results in getting booted from the tournament.

The most chicken shite part of his Wade/basketball posts is that he is like a little school girl that comes in, throws out his insult, and then runs away like a little bitch after everyone starts crucifying him for it.
