Anyone still contemplating the trip to Green Bay, be aware that available rooms are dwindling fast. Just booked mine this am. Hyatt on main is a 4* and center of town. 4 miles from the stadium. Flying to Chicago is cheaper than Milli-wau-kay. Spirit being the cheapest (if available from your nearest airport).
Can't wait.

I haven't investigated Spirit that closely and have never flown with them. This was just a passing glance over prices to Chicago from Atl. Thanks for the bag fee info. I'm not a frequent air traveler. Just passing along info. Mainly just wanted to give a heads up about rooms in GB. I don't wanna have to worry bout driving back to Mil, especially if it's a night game. As I plan on being full of beer, brats, piss and vinegar.

You're better off taking a Greyhound Bus than Spirit.

Me and my buds are flying in to chi town. (Never been) ultimate sports bucket list would be to catch a game at wrigley. Heading to Mil after that. 2 hrs from mil to GB. We're contemplating a night of bar hopping in Madison. Prob gonna need to be put on the liver transplant list after this one.

Not contemplating. Definitely going. But haven't booked anything yet. Most hotels have yet to open up rooms for booking this early.

I'm gonna wait to see what else is available rather than book the Hyatt for $400/night right now..

Just in case the Cubs are on a road trip that weekend, good news is usually the White Sox are opposite and on a home stand. I know a white sox game doesn't sound as fun but my dad and I really enjoyed it.. however sticking around the ballpark after the game isn't a good idea because its located in sketchville South Chicago

If y'all have an opportunity to geaux to a Brewers game in Milwaukee, I would jump on that. Brew crew fans are great even if the game isn't and there is the Miller brewery tour also which is awesome!

Hyatt is 300 and some change. Still a lot, but I don't know if it'll get better to be honest.

It was based on 4 people per room. Listed at $354/night with 4 people.. but I see it is "only" $314/night for 2 people...

How far is Chicago from GB? It's been a while since I've been up that way.

We're all planning to stay in Milwaukee so I'm thinking we don't have to book rooms this far out, but I may need to look into it.

I booked Hyatt for 289. Only doing sat night. Not booking anything else till down the road. That's 2 queen beds and a roll out. Starting out as 2 of us but it may turn into the Saigon embassy airlift at the last minute.
Oh, and suck it, bama hater
