does anyone actually really believe that Peterson even belongs on the ballot at this point?

He's going to need a few more special team TDs, atleast 1 defensive TD, 5 or more INTs, and maybe even an offensive TD to even be considered top 10.

That doesn't mean he isn't the best player in the nation, he just needs to put up the stats that matter in order to be legitimately considered a Heisman candidate.

This poll looks like it will be a lot harder to manipulate, unlike the quarterback poll today. Too large a number of total votes already.

1 Denard Robinson (6,177) 185,236
2 Ryan Mallett (760) 145,645
3 Terrelle Pryor (1,483) 145,545
4 Kellen Moore (662) 140,150
5 Patrick Peterson (4,271) 130,702
6 Jake Locker (303) 123,698
7 Andrew Luck (136) 116,718
8 Case Keenum (164) 112,327
9 John Clay (1,596) 111,835
10 Marcus Lattimore (161) 108,749
11 Kendall Hunter (677) 103,206
12 Trent Richardson (269) 99,108
13 Cameron Newton (131) 91,934
14 Jeffrey Demps (75) 91,331
15 Ryan Broyles (155) 90,790
16 Daniel Thomas (85) 86,246

Charles Woodson didn't think so

ETA: 5 INTs and 1 more TD would be on par to Woodson's stats
