Damn! Ok, So, when I saw your post I was thinking that happened recently and that was the reason for his LOA.

Meh he saw the writing was on the wall. Couldn't keep up with Jay long term in a program building race. Took the easy way out where all he has to do is sit in a dugout and let pros be pros.
Oddly enough, his decision making is his weak point (remember when Jay out maneuvered him like crazy with pitching matchups and defensive substitutions?) so this will probably end up not working.
