Not too shabby Jersey... I'd try and throw something in about Tacoma but the only thing good here is me... So come out and drink your faces with me if you're in Tacoma on a Monday night... JazzBones ahoy!
Hey, I threw you a bone with the Museum of Glass. Otherwise, I did like all Seattleites do: pretend Tacoma doesn't exist!

nice work, reading some of that really brought back some memories. i lived in Seattle for the first 11 years of my life, and i remember more than you would think. I highly recommend Salty's and Metropolitan Grill, very very good. Salty's is in a beautiful part of town. I never experienced Mac and jacks but my father really really liked it. But mainly if you don't do anything else just walking around downtown seeing the culture and different sights is incredible, def a whole diff world than in the south.
oh and p.s. may be a surprise to most of yall but it wouldn't hurt to take a jacket to the game, it wouldn't surprise me if it's a little chilly bc it's right next to some water, but it shouldn't be too
bad.

Hahaha I wish I could do that but I kinda live there... It's hard to pretend where you sleep at night doesn't exist.

Jersey,
I know you said you don't have any favorite hotel's but could you give a list of hotels in the downtown area.
Thanks!

I prefer the W. The Fairmont is always popular. You also have The Four Seasons and the Red Lion and the Marriott. There's tons of hotels all over downtown.

No mention of Starbucks. Can I take a tour? How much free coffee will they give me?

Well done, JT.
Re: Fishing, anyone who gets up a few days early, I highly recommend Salmon fishing at the mouth of the Columbia River; you'll need to stay in one of the little hotels in Ilwaco the night before.
There will be hundreds of boats trolling around the mouth of the river. Keep one or two fish per person, around 20lbs.
Nor recommending, just as an example: Salmon charters

What about the Roosevelt Hotel in the shopping area, Jersey? Thoughts, if any?

No opinion. I would trust Trip Advisor reviews on pretty much any hotel downtown.
