Hiking is EVERYWHERE. One cool peak you can climb in a few hours is Mt. Si

LINK

It's about 30 miles east of the city.

We are driving out to the Olympic peninsula Sunday to look for vampires and werewolves.

Fantastic work. Where are the "college bars" or the best places to go pick up some co'eds?

Everybody should watch the "Man vs. Food" episode on Travel Channel from Seattle. They featured a couple smaller diner-type restaurants that are really well known for a few items.

One that I will definitely be going to is Red Mill Burgers.

Pop – it’s what they call cokes. I know, stupid.

That's what we call coke down here too. Maybe it's just a bayou thing?

Nicely done.

I'd add a few different wineries to your list though....

Januik / Novelty Hill
Mark Ryan
Matthews
DeLille (need reservations, if possible)
Betz
Baer

The best wine is in Walla Walla. Great location. Like a miniature Napa but much farther from the city...

Might also want to add some breweries to your list (70% of the nation's beer is brewed with Washington hops) since we have so many microbreweries and some major labels with nice tasting rooms.

Red Hook
Pyramid (across street from Safeco Field)
Hales
Pike Place
Mac & Jack's
Ram (UW hangout in University Village near UW and Husky Stadium)

Bars?
Pioneer Square has a bunch but can get sketchy. Mostly college aged kids and punks.

Belltown has a bunch. Think douchebags who think they're better than everyone else and hoes.

Fremont has a bunch. Think douchebags who can't get the college out of them and chicks who think they're hotter than they really are.

University District mainly has dive bars. The Ram is nice though.

Capital Hill has a bunch if you're a dude looking for a dude.

Seattle Restaurants?
he's named a bunch. I'd add Salty's for Sunday brunch. Lot's of seafood and a great view of Seattle.

I'd add Ray's for a cool view of the Sound and the locks. Great happy hour but busy.

Waterfront is the seafood brother of El Gaucho, the steakhouse.

Herbfarm is an event and needs resrevations WAY in advance. Next door is Barking Frog which is very good too. They're both in the wine country, adjacent to Columbia Winerey, Chateau St. Michelle, and Redhook Brewery.

Il Terrazzo Carmine is a great italian place in Pioneer Square.

Several great places in Pike Place for food too. Matt's in the Market, Place Pigalle, Chez Shea, and Il Bistro.

Of course, all LSU folk need to visit Pike Place. Skip EMP unless you're a complete music freak who actually cares about who wore what and when and why...

Visit Snoqualmie Falls. About 30 minutes outside of Seattle near Mt. Si.

Walk UW campus. It's beautiful.

I'll be watching the game from my home in Gulfport but a well deserved tip of the hat to you sir for the effort and the service to the LSU fans making the trip. Great job.

Not too shabby Jersey... I'd try and throw something in about Tacoma but the only thing good here is me... So come out and drink your faces with me if you're in Tacoma on a Monday night... JazzBones ahoy!
