If you just want great seafood an the best crab follow the link below. You sit on plastic outdoor furniture with bibs and they come dump huge buckets of seafood on your table with massive bowls of drawn butter. It's still not cheap, but it's a way casual environment.I've eaten seafood everywhere and this is by far the best place for crab in Seattle.

Joe's Crab Shack in Vancouver, WA is also very good for those of you going to southern Washington, however I'm not sure why anybody would want to go to there.

Another important thing to remember is King Crab don't come from Washington. I only recommend trying King Crab from one of the nicer restaurants or it wont be very fresh and they will over cook it and still charge you up the butt for it.

Some people might want to check out Portland bro......which is another great city in the northwest. There is just as much to do there. BTW.....king crab season is in the fall to early winter. It won't be fresh no matter where you go. Its all previously frozen.

I know when King Crab is, but some LSU fans may be under the impression that they can get it fresh here and would be very disapointed.

I'm just not a fan of southern Washington. Just an opinion. Hell I live in Everett which isn't exactly Medina :)

I was speaking more to the lsu fans about the king crab even though they sell it down there. I bought some at Sams once in Slidell, LA ( 9 bucks a pound which I couldnt believe!!). The cheapest I have ever seen it was at Winco for 7. I am not a fan of Southern Washington either, except the salmon fishing:) Not much here. Portland is where its at. I have a friend who lives in Everett, its where I will be crashing after the game.

I lived in Dutch Harbor for a year and I think it ruined me for anything but prime King Crab. Anybody checking out Portland needs to stop at the Sunday Market. Very cool mix of people and unique products.

My brother worked there a few years back. I love king crab:) He is now lobster fishing in Maine. I love all seafood period! The Saturday market is cool....they have finally finished all of the construction there too. Portland is a very nice city and usually about 7-10 degrees warmer too.....LOL!

Jersey and DT...y'all are doing a great job helping us out. Thanks!

I was wondering how you think our traveling group is going to rank in terms of size to some of the games in the past.

Looking forward to the trip!

The best restaurant in Seattle by far is Crush. A little pricey, but worth every penny.

Any idea how long the typical round at Chambers Bay is? I want to play a second round at another course and need to know how long its going to take to play chambers.

Also, have you played either druids glen or washington national and recomend either?

We are going to tour the Olympic Peninsula. What is the approximate minimum time required to make the loop and see some of the sites..Hurricane Ridge, rain forest. We are trying to do it on the Friday and are going to Travis Matte and do not want to spread ourselves too thin.

I'd plan on at least 4.5 hours. The problem is you have to take a little shuttle from the pro shop down to the course and then back again. That adds probably at least 15 minutes to your total time when all is said and done. Plus, it's walking only and the course is difficult, so it can slow down a bit.

Have played both, would certainly recommend WaNat over Druids. Also, check out The Home Course. It's near Chambers.

I'd leave really early. Between the ferries and the driving and the sightseeing, it's fairly time-intensive.

Any recommended strip clubs? I saw Deja Vu is 3.8 miles from where we are staying. And I believe something called _______ Dolls??? But I think the latter is more of a peep show from the reviews I read. I think we are staying in Alki along Beach Dr SW, if that makes any sense.

Thanks.

Seattle is not a great place for those. Deja Vu is downtown and is decent. Rick's is further north. Other than that...don't waste your time. Vancouver, BC on the other hand....

Hey guys, for some of the nicer restaurants will we need slacks or will jeans work most places? Portland was real casual when we were there, but it has been a few years since I visited Seattle. You guys have really helped a lot btw
