Jennings is a bum at this point in his career

Patterson is a freak athlete but raw - concerns over route running and hands

Jenning's is a veteran receiver who could probably help Mett or Derek Carr with their progression as a passer. I'll wait to see what Norv Turner does with Patterson in the vertical passing game. Considering the fact that he made Cleveland's offense have a heartbeat last year [Not to mention Josh Gordon blew up]. I trust that Turner knows what he's doing. Also, the light could to turn on for K.Rudolph in this offense.

The skill talent in this draft is deep and the Vikings need to keep up with the arms race in the NFCN.

Greg Jennings never was an elite WR and hasn't even been a #2 in three years. He's old, injured and unproductive.

Patterson has talent but a ways to go.

I think Mett would excel in Minnesota...Spielman's future depends on the QB spot this draft. Drafting a guy like Mett is much less risky than a guy like Carr...and the value in the first round spots are just not there.

Leslie Frazier is easily one of the worst head coaches in NFL history. Mett could jump start a division that is asking for a team to step up and take control of it.

This is a prime landing spot for him.

Totally agree. Plus, he won't have to be that great at first. You hand off the ball and play solid defense. Worked for the ravens.
