Personally, I would prefer to sit in the outfield bleachers than down either of the baselines.

You are basing your review of a stadium based on a mediocre bullpen? They are the exact same style bullpens LSU has, bench on the field. Zephyrs beats LSU for the sole reason that all the the seats in the park are chairs instead of the metal bleachers. LSU skimped in this regard South Carolina's new stadium did not. It is by far better than Alex Box, I hate to say it because I am a huge LSU fan. The atmosphere at USC during the regionals (only seen on tv) reminds me of how crazy it used to be at the old BOx

apparently the whole outfield area was running on generator power. I guess they didn't have enough power for the real scoreboard?
