I've already told you I am going to let the legal system handle this situation I could care less about it. Either JJ is of no relation to me so therefore I have no dog in this fight. If they go to jail oh well. If they don't good for them. BTW my guy is ZM.

then you shouldn't make it so obvious what side you've chosen

In fact I bet if you could you would make up testimony just so you could come back on here and say I TOLD YOU SO!!!!111! HE WAS INNOCENT!
POT MEET KETTLE!

quote:

What is your stake in this?
That an innocent young man isn't unduly prosecuted because of lies from left wing media and left wing Tiger fans (Alleged).

quote:

Why are you so adamant about his innocence and the pushing of blatant disregard for all societal laws.
Because guilt hasn't been proven. Period.

quote:

Is it okay for everyone to break the law or only certain people?
We all break the law(speeding, jaywalking, urinating in public) but we shouldn't be convicted without evidence.

quote:

Like I said I don't see you defending Johns.
No one here is convicting him like they are JJ without evidence. And that's a pathetic argument.

quote:

Are only black people allowed to break the law, but whites are subjected to punishment?

That's blatant racism, all people breaking the laws and getting caught are subject to justice.
But I would have to think it's easier for a white man to get away with a crime than any other nationality here in America.
And if you're rich or have connections then its almost a given the law won't prosecute the way it does a poor man.

And you are correct. What amazes me though is the presumption that the evidence for public consumption is the sole body of evidence.
Yeah.

I don't think that's the case actually. Look I don't know if JJ is guilty or not --- though 2nd Degree Assault is waaaaaay out there. But considering the hideous impact of filed charges on his life, and the lack of need to file them until the DA was ready to bring his case, my contention is you gather evidence until you're done. Then bring charges. That's all.

There was simply no reason whatsoever for the BRPD to proceed the way it did.

How does this effect LSU anymore? We are a better team because of it and we need to move on. I could really care less how this plays out in the courts I am much more interested in the performance of my alma mater on the field.

And therein lies the difference between your argument and the one's defending JJ. You, admittedly , don't give a shite about what becomes of this young man, and whether he was falsely accused or not. You got your wish in Lee starting, so why waste your time arguing about what is going to happen to JJ if you have just admitted that your only dog in this fight is whether Lee is starting or not?

The others who you are arguing with, do genuinely care about what happens to our former QB and whether or not he has been being falsely accused or not. The fact that you have continued to argue this long, shows that you have some type of resentment towards JJ and would like nothing better than to watch him burn.

That is why Jefferson has the highest power attorney in the state and Johns got the slop left over.

No one was suggesting you go get involved, merely that you've made it perfectly clear for days you couldn't be happier that there had been a change on the field...because as you clearly stated, that's what this is about for you.

Either JJ is of no relation to me so therefore I have no dog in this fight.

Seems a good policy...frick anyone not directly related to me. I'll have to adopt that...it sure would be easier.

Here's a suggestion...make your guy the one with LSU on the side of his helmet.

I've had clients charged more quickly than in this case.
Ah an anecdote. So following that to an end, were those situations involving clients where the known impact of timing of charges needlessly approached that of this case?

Did you really just say that? "We all break the law." An average person might have to go really bad and use the bathroom in the bushes or something. They would NOT piss on someone else. "urinating in public" =/= pissing on someone
