Some things were publicly stated. You act as if the Rant knows everything there is to know. You cannot know that. Who are the other 3 people who were injured? Who allegedly injured them? Is it not possible that JJ could have been in a "bar fight" with more than one person? We don't know squat.
There are two apparent sides to this 'debate'. However, in reality, there's really just one side. The side that doesn't know shite.
You have guys (including me) that say, according to the things we DO know, it doesn't look like JJ was as involved as police are apparently believing he was.
You have guys stating that, since the police arrested him, CLEARLY they must have something we don't have.
They may, and if they do, then fine. But based on the videos, inconsistant stories from 'witnesses', things that were said at first that have been proven wrong, (on both sides), none of us knows shite about this.
My contention is only this: IF the police are going off of the video evidence that WE have seen, they don't stand a chance in a conviction of JJ. IF they are going on witness statements that WE have heard/read, they don't stand a chance in a conviction of JJ.
I have no idea if that is or isn't all they have. Nor does Doc, Real, you, or anyone else on here.

This. If there was more evidence than more players would have been arrested. Instead, you have 3 people who got beat down and probably have a case. Problem is they have no clue who did what. AL also got beat down and can only name 2 people right now.

This is close, but it is not these videos which prove JJ innocent. Every new piece of information no matter what it is in some way proves JJ is innocent.

Do some of you really beleive that they would arrest LSU's starting QB without any evidence? Really? See i see it 180 degress different. I see it as they know that they had better damn well have proof before they arrest because this isnt just some ole regualr guy. But i guess we all have a right to our own Opinions and only time will bear out the facts. Its just sad that its happening at all.

They might have more evidence, but they needed nothing more than the statements in the police report to make the arrest. Both JJ's should have been picked up Friday morning.
For the record, I have stated over and over I don't think Jefferson kicked a sole. Not in his nature and the guys kicking the person on the ground aren't 6'5". Now it has been pointed out that the "kickers" are wearing different colored shirts than JJ was wearing in the bar.

This was confusing to me too. If people are assuming they arrested the JJs with nothing more than the original witness statements then why didn't they do it immediately or shortly thereafter. It seems as though they waited to find more conclusive evidence before making the arrests.
