Joe Schad from ESPN has reported this was told to him by the BRPD.

His reporting carries more weight than your opinion.

I'm assuming you mean the same BRPD that stated publicly that the 4 were treated for minor injuries and released within a couple hours. They don't just let you walk a few hours after sustaining a skull fracture and significant concussion.

Yet YOU'RE completely ignoring the part of the statement that doesn't support YOUR view of the situation. Ain't that a kick in the head.

no, I would be happy for him as it means he didn't do it.

you and the other "superfans" were the only ones claiming I hated JJ you fricking troll.

because you seem to be hardlegging for the lying, theiving, woman beater while throwing the LSU player who's never been in trouble before completely under the bus. seems a little odd

no i'm not.

The man said he didn't see JJ in the fight, but admits he couldn't say WHETHER JEFFERSON WAS INVOLVED OR NOT.

His qualifying statement destroys his first comment.

Law is all about percentages and chances. Criminal law requires those percentages to be pretty high to convict. Placing Jefferson away from the fight, even in a limited time frame reduced the chances of a conviction.

I'm not being intellectually dishonest. Read what I said carefully.

The employees statement doesn't completely exonerate Jefferson but it does place him away from the fight for a period of time while the fight is occurring.

In a criminal law setting, this is a pretty important piece of evidence because the State has to prove behind a reasonable doubt that Jefferson is guilty.

Is it possible that the employee just missed the time when Jefferson kicked somebody? Yes.

But being that this fight most likely didn't last very long and we can place Jefferson away from the fight for some time period, the State's burden gets harder and harder.

Lowery is going to have a lot of problems as a witness given his history and what has transpired since the fight. I called him toxic earlier this week and I still stand by that. The DA may not even put him on the stand because of how he'll come off to a jury.

I'm sorry, but if I were sitting on a jury I surely wouldn't be able to make a sound decision about what the kicker was wearing after watching these videos, and I obviously couldn't identify him.

I do have a question however. I Jefferson is innocent, no one there who sympathizes with Jefferson can identify the person that did do the kicking? With all those people around? Makes no sense.

That's not what you said the first time...should i go link your post?

agreed, but that statement does not exonerate him.

long enough for a truck to show up, three people to get beaten, a fourth to help them back to the truck, time enough for the truck to leave and then the 4th to be beaten and kicked on the ground.

I'm sure it was mere seconds.

Well it's a good thing they have other witnesses then. You don't think they realized the guy had issues at some point in the week prior to the arrest?

So do the players. What's your point?

again, your lack of intellectual honesty about his qualifying statement is sad.

I suggest you go reread his full statement to the media.
