Was he @ the B-Ball game this weekend? Does any one know what he is up to these days?

Yes, he played in the game. I did get to meet him but not exactly sure what line of work he's in...

I hear Stanley Roberts damn near pulled the goal over on a dunk, did anyone see it. Was it during the game or was he just playing around? Thanks!

Yes the goal lifted a couple inches off the ground when he slammed it.

Yes, Stanley almost took down the goal during the game on a monster two handed slam.

Vernel Singleton was the best jumper I've ever seen at LSU. He could elevate w/ ease. Could easily have dunked on a 14 ft. basket.

Vernel is definitely one of my all time favorites. I was disappointed he wasn't on the all century team.

Vernel is also one of my all-time favorites, but he just didn't do enough to warrant top 15 status IMO. Very good player, just not an elite player. Having said that, I didn't agree with everyone that made the top 15.

Did Clarence 'HAIL' Ceaser play? I used to love it when he spotted up from the corner!

Ceaser was there. He must weigh 400 lbs.

yes, Caesar played and knocked down 3-4 from beyond the arc. Like another poster said, definitely pushing 400 these days. Regardless, he can still shoot the rock and he had a good time with the crowd.

I knew a guy who said he played with Singleton in Korea, right after Vernel's LSU days. My buddy said he was awesome over there.

Vernel was a great leaper. But so were Ronald Dupree and Tyrus Thomas.

He played defensive lineman in the Arena football league for a while, maybe for Lake Charles.

Then you never saw Ronald Dupre or Tyrus Thomas play. VS was a great player, but these other guys were much better leapers.
