What do you know about anybody from U-High?

Bruh, these guys read message boards and get upvotes. You’re out of your league.

LSU offered Williams a scholarship. That’s not speculation but a verifiable fact. He chose to go to Alabama over LSU. All the downvotes you’re getting, all the upvotes I’m getting and just a little bit of research would tell you that you’re wrong but I can see you’re determined to be wrong so I’ll let you be.

Seeing a check mark next to a school on a recruiting website does not mean the offer is committable.

You’re not good at either reading comprehension.or inference. That’s not what I said. I remember his recruitment well

He had grades issues. So they passed on him. He wouldn't have qualified for them.

Who did we offer from UHigh that we didn't get, besides Dylan Moses?
there were 3 defensive 4 stars out of U High last year that all went out of state

With Roy committing today I hope Verge A’s influence began to take effect.

I am not sure VA would get involved that way.

This year resembles Saban’s 2nd year at LSU, recruiting-wise. I am not saying we have Crimson Dearf’s mojo just yet though..LOL

Tim Williams was a character and academic risk and we did not want. He turned out well for the Tide.

hen why did they tell him no when he tried to commit?

You're getting yourself confused. We quit recruiting him but we offered him.
We quit recruiting him because he told us he was not heading our way.
He made it clear from the beginning that he planned on playing out of state.

I'm not great on history, but I think this has to do with primary source vs secondary source.

You're going to see less and less recruits come out of that program. The admin that allowed all of the scholarships and recruiting is gone. The head coach is gone too.

Honestly I’m kind of glad. I can see the argument of why go to the same place for college you went for high school.

LSU wanted Williams, offered him on contingency he’d qualify, but then didn’t think he’d qualify and they developed concerns about character so moved their energy elsewhere.

Bama kept pressing him and got him to qualify.

So you’re kind of both right.

For them the ends always justify the means. LSU dismissed the Honey Badger. When was the last time Alabama dismissed a starter, much less a high impact player?

Remember their players sweat all summer while the rest of us are in air conditoned places.

Here's a hint, because they didn't want him on the team. Feel free to keep pressing, but I don't deal in speculation.

What you are posting is speculation. Not saying you are wrong though because that was what was posted on here. I have heard that LSU wanted him off this board though. So no clue what is true.

No. It's not. He tried to commit, was told no, visited Alabama a few days later and committed to them. This is not speculation.

Eta: I'm not repeating anything I read here. This isn't message board rumor.

Its speculation because you was told that from this board. You believe your source is correct. 4 different people have popped in here with different versions of the story.

I have no idea what happened. I know he was in the thread that I was in when Williams trying to commit to LSU was being discussed.
