Clemson's D is getting it done! Are their athletes that much better than LSU's or is Venables scheming superior to Aranda? Should Aranda be able to do more with less if he is that much of a mastermind?

To be fair, it is a lot easier to hold your opponent to fewer points when your offense can actually move the ball.

I can agree somewhat but Aranda doesn’t have the d line of Clemson

Alabama has been moving the ball fine.

It’s not like Bama’s offense has scored that much against LSU in recent years.

Man... I didn't realize there was that much of a talent gap. Hopefully O can correct this.

Venables had terrible defenses at OU. He obviously has some of the best players in the country but I think he has a good supporting staff.

If he was the best DC in the cutey he would've had better D at OU when they were rolling.

I think he is good and looks to hAve some confusing looks for Tua but he has best players and good staff. How involved is Dabo?

Aranda and Venables schemes are somewhat similar. The main difference is Venables is more aggressive. However, Aranda showed agresseiveness in playcalling against UCF

While you guys go on a rant about Aranda vs A&M, Venables at OU was horrific at best.

Clemson’s D-Line can get pressure on the QB while ours can’t.

They gave up 26 to Texas A&M. This board was ready to fire Aranda after LSU gave up 31.

I wonder how those same posters would have reacted to the 35 Clemson gave up to South Carolina?

I mean damn... their CB's look ridiculous too. I know we have better CB's but it doesn't seem like it right now.

Given the football coach's speciality we should have an elite d-line.

Lololol. LSU is fricked regardless. Aranda is overrated and we can’t afford his buyout and we can’t afford to buy out venables. Lololol. Aranda has regressed every year since he has been here. LSU fans will make excuses as to why. Ask a LSU fan to post Arandas stats related to his rankings in total d, rush d, and pass d, respectively each year
