i bought 4 RT Southwest from NO to Vegas nonstop for 1079 total in march. you might have waited too long

Look I tried for months to get decent priced tickets with a good airline. Finally caved into flying LAX on AA $560 2 ppl. Renting car for $80 to Vegas. Then rental back 5 days later $80. Cheapest way and get to see the desert lol

Your expectations are way off.
It’s not your typical weekend trip bc it’s a holiday weekend in Vegas, but a domestic round trip should be around $300 usually.
I could fly round trip to Hawaii for $600
A $1200 round trip flight is more like flying to Europe

It was $1200 for two round trip tickets in December. Always a shite show unless you're willing to fly at shite times.
I'm paying more to come back on Monday so I don't miss Tuesday.

Agree but the subject line says ‘outrageous’. I was expecting 3x to 4x average.
